JOB DESCRIPTION
- Develop and maintain a demand forecasting process, including data collection, analysis and statistical modelling.
- Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including sales, marketing, production, and procurement, to gather relevant information and insights for demand planning.
- Analyze historical sales data, market trends and customer demand patterns to forecast future demand accurately.
- Utilize forecasting techniques and tools to generate demand forecasts and monitor their accuracy and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Supply Planning team to align the supply with demand & Lead demand review meetings and S&OP discussions.
- Identify and communicate potential demand risk and opportunities to stakeholders and propose appropriate actions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics and emerging demand planning practices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in physical science with statistics, engineering or supply chain management in recognized university.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical modeling and demand forecasting techniques.
- Proficient in using demand planning software and advanced Excel functions.
- Excellent understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and demand-supply dynamics.
- Experience working with cross- functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Strong problem- solving availabilities and ability to think critically and strategically.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and other supply chain management tools.
