The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to lead our Modern Trade function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening partnerships with key retail accounts, and ensuring excellence in execution across modern trade channels.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to enhance revenue and expand market share within modern trade.
• Negotiate and manage commercial agreements, joint business plans, and promotional partnerships with key retail stakeholders.
• Lead, coach, and support the modern trade sales team to achieve high performance and operational excellence.
• Oversee new product listings, ensure adherence to planogram standards, optimize shelf space, and execute effective merchandising strategies.
• Design and execute promotional campaigns, seasonal activations, and trade discounts to drive volume and visibility.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, competitor activity, and consumer trends to continuously improve strategies.
• Work closely with the Supply Chain and Store Operations teams to maintain optimal stock levels, prevent stock-outs, and reduce overstocking.
Candidate Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, Marketing, or related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in modern trade, key account management, or FMCG retail operations.
• Proficient in Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and the full Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a proven track record of driving sales and building effective trade relationships.
