Manager – Finance

The Role:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Finance Manager to lead and coordinate the company’s budgeting and financial planning processes. This role will be responsible for overseeing financial forecasts, managing CAPEX and overhead budgets, and providing valuable insights to Senior Management for effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align budgetary objectives and ensure the timely completion of deliverables.
• Lead periodic meetings with relevant departments and Senior Management to drive budgeting timelines and targets.
• Review and report on company overhead budgets, providing key insights and recommendations to Senior Management.
• Consolidate and coordinate the company’s CAPEX budget, including liaising with management for approvals.
• Prepare comprehensive budgeted financial statements in line with group requirements.
• Submit monthly financial forecasts for review, along with variance analysis and detailed explanations.
• Implement internal controls in response to discrepancies identified during variance analysis.
• Monitor overhead costs and work closely with business units to identify and address deviations from budget.
• Partner with budget owners to drive cost optimization initiatives and internal control improvements.
• Oversee the monitoring of CAPEX budgets and ensure adherence to established CAPEX policies.
• Promote company-wide understanding and compliance with CAPEX-related guidelines.
• Manage the fixed asset process in accordance with company policies.

The Person:
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• A recognized professional qualification (CA/ACCA) is essential.
• Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in managerial capacity, with exposure to the manufacturing sector considered an added advantage.
