The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager – Engineering to lead our maintenance and engineering operations, ensuring the highest levels of machine reliability and performance within our manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence through effective maintenance planning, team capability building, and project management.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure mold and machine availability of 95% or higher at all times.
• Achieve 100% adherence to the preventive maintenance schedule across all equipment in the annual service plan.
• Develop and implement cross-training programs to minimize labor turnover and enhance workforce capability to meet operational challenges.
• Manage operational expenditure (OpEx) for maintenance activities within the approved budget.
• Maintain overall machine downtime below 3%.
• Oversee the ordering, commissioning, and handover of all new machines and mold replacements within agreed timelines and standards.
• Formulate and execute a three-year maintenance strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead and complete CAPEX projects within approved timelines and budgets.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all team KPIs and performance metrics.
• Smooth operation of ETP and STP
• Smooth operation Injection molding, Pastel plant, Facility department and blow molding plant.
The Candidate
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of overall experience, including at least 3 years in maintenance management within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in 2D engineering drawings and 3D design software.
• Hands-on experience in injection mold design, repair, assembly, and disassembly processes.
• Strong knowledge of precision machining techniques such as CNC, EDM, and laser welding.
• Familiarity with industrial automation systems design and fabrication.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
